CBI Arrests Delhi Police ASI for Bribery in Bail Case

Reports suggest that the ASI requested a bribe of Rs. 25,000 from the complainant, promising to assist his brother in obtaining bail. Furthermore, the ASI reportedly threatened to implicate the complainant in additional cases if the demanded bribe was not provided.
On the same day, the CBI executed a well-planned operation, catching the ASI in the act while he was in the process of receiving the bribe amount of Rs. 15,000 from the complainant. The officer has been successfully arrested.
