Banks across the country will remain closed for the next four days from Saturday due to the strike of various employees union in protest against other government decisions including privatization of banks. Various employees’ unions have called for a two-day strike on March 28-29. At the same time, the banks will be closed on 26 (Saturday) and 27 (Sunday).
Banking services across the country may be affected due to this strike. SBI said, work in banks will be affected on March 28 and March 29 due to the strike by the bank union. SBI said in a statement that we will try our best to ensure that customers do not face any kind of problem during this period. The two-day strike has been announced by organizations like All India Bank Employees Association.
