On September 27, 2023, The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) has finalized a contract to sell its Supramax Dry Bulk Carrier, Jag Rohan, built in 2006, with a capacity of approximately 52,450 dwt, to an unrelated third party. The vessel is scheduled for delivery to the new owner by the third quarter of fiscal year 2024 (Q3 FY24).

With the addition of Jag Rohan, the company’s current fleet comprises 42 vessels, consisting of 28 tankers (including 6 crude carriers, 18 product tankers, and 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers (comprising 2 Capesize, 7 Kamsarmax, and 5 Supramax), totaling 3.38 million dwt.

On Wednesday, Great Eastern Shipping’s stock closed at Rs. 856.40, recording a 0.58% increase.
