The new e-filing website of the Income Tax Department was launched on 7 June.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had tagged Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani on Twitter regarding technical glitches coming to this website. The Finance Minister had written that he was receiving many complaints regarding accessing the website. In such a situation, Nandan Nilekani apologized to the Finance Minister for the initial flaws and said that the system will be stable within a week.
