The Income Tax department has issued a recruitment notification for several posts, marking the reinstatement of these positions within the department. Interested candidates are invited to apply offline through the department’s official link. Below are the details regarding the recruitment:

According to the notification released on April 3, 2024, candidates must submit their applications within 45 days of the notification release date.

The recruitment drive is for the positions of Income Tax Officer (CBDT)/Superintendent (CBIC) and Inspector (CBDT/CBIC), with a total of four vacancies available.

Interested candidates can apply through the official website, incometax.gov.in.

Date of Notification Release: April 3, 2024.

Application Deadline: Within 45 days of the notification release.

Posts and Vacancies:

Income Tax Officer (CBDT)/Superintendent (CBIC): 1

Inspector (CBDT/CBIC): 3

The recruitment is on a loan basis for 3 years.

Applicants should send their applications to the Competent Authority & Administrator, SAFEM(FOP)A & NDPSA, Shastri Bhavan, New Building, (4th Floor), No. 26, Haddows Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai. The application must include the following documents:

Complete bio-data of the officer.

History of postings.

APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Report) gradings for the last five years.

Vigilance Clearing Certificate.

Note that applications submitted after the specified deadline will be rejected.
