Mandatory E-Diary for ICAI Practical Training Starting 1 Jan 2026

ICAI has introduced the Digital Practical Training (E-Diary) System, a digital platform for Article Assistants and Principals, launched by the Board of Studies – Operations. This system becomes mandatory for students starting practical training on or after 1st January 2026.

  • Fortnightly reporting and monitoring
  • Real-time tracking of attendance and assignments
  • Streamlined management of leave and training events
  • Deemed approval system for governance and accountability
