Breaking: Government Rescinds Anti Dumping Duty On Colour Coated Steel

Vide Notification No. 2/2022- Customs (ADD), Dated 13th January 2022, Government has rescinded anti dumping duty on colour coated steel.

The notification reads as under:

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rules 18 and 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment, and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 49/2017 Customs (ADD), dated the 17th October, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R. number 1303(E), dated the 17th October, 2017, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

Note: The principal notification No. 49/2017-Customs (ADD), dated the 17th October, 2017 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 1303(E), dated the 17th October, 2017 and was last amended vide notification No. 53/2021 Customs (ADD), dated the 29th September, 2021, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R.671 (E), dated the 29th September, 2021.
