How to Update Nominee in EPF Account?
Updating the nominee details in your EPF account is a simple online process that can be done through the EPFO Unified Member Portal. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to the EPFO Member Portal
- Visit EPFO’s Unified Member Portal.
- Log in using your Universal Account Number (UAN) and password.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number (linked with Aadhaar) for verification.
Step 2: Navigate to E-Nomination
- Click on ‘Manage’ from the top menu and select ‘E-Nomination’ from the dropdown list.
Step 3: Update Family Details
- A new page will open where you need to provide family member details.
- Click on ‘Add Family Details’ and enter the nominee’s name, date of birth, relation, and address.
- If you have multiple nominees, specify the percentage share for each.
