Sub.: Request for extension of due dates for filing GSTR-1/ IFF for the month of October 2021 due to festivals like Dhanteras, Deepawali and Chhath Puja.
Respected Madam/ Sir,
Tax Concept is a well known platform formed for the professionals. The platform is educating 2.5 million professionals through its website.
The aim of the platform is to educate and serve professionals in a better way.
Representation started…
The nation was busy in celebrating the auspicious festivals Dhanteras and Deepawali from 2nd November to 5th November 2021.
After these festivals, Chhath Puja will be celebrated in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.
Due to these festivals, taxpayers and professionals are not able to file GSTR-1/ IFF on time. Also, late filing of GSTR-1 attracts late fees and IFF cannot be filed after due date. So, to save the registered taxpayers from paying unnecessary late fees and for seamless flow of credit, your good self are kindly requested to extend the due dates for filing GSTR-1/ IFF for the month of October 2021.
Thanking You
Yours Faithfully,
Team Tax Concept
