Reserve Bank of India imposes monetary penalty on State Bank of India

While PAN-Aadhaar linking is mandatory for everyone, SBI has specifically sent alerts to its customers asking them to do so so that they continue to enjoy uninterrupted banking services. SBI in one of its tweets said that we advise our customers to get their PAN linked with Aadhaar and save themselves from the hassle arising due to non-availability and continue to enjoy uninterrupted banking services.

The last date for linking PAN card with Aadhar card is September 30, 2021.

PAN card holders should also note that if their PAN card is not linked with Aadhar card by September 30, then it will become inoperative. Not only this, for not doing so, you will also have to pay a fine of Rs 1000.

Go to http://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and click on the link on the left pane, ‘Link Aadhaar’

The last date is 30th September 2021. Link it soon to avoid any inconvenience.
