EPFO rolls out WhatsApp-based member services
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has introduced WhatsApp channels to give members quick online access to their provident fund details. The service is designed to let users check balance, review recent activity, and monitor the status of provident fund claims directly within the chat interface.
Since launch, the platform has gained traction, with user numbers reported to be around seventy-five thousand at the time of reporting.

Joining is straightforward: members can initiate a chat with the official EPFO WhatsApp channel and complete the verification steps to link their account. EPFO advises members to use the official number published on its website and avoid sharing sensitive data outside the verified channel.
