Two-step DA upgrade approved
In a move to bolster pay for state employees, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved two dearness allowance revisions, lifting the DA by a total of 4.55 percent. The higher DA will be effective from September 2026 salaries.
Arrears plan
Arrears associated with the revisions will be paid in two instalments. The government has not yet announced exact dates, but a timetable is expected to be shared through the salary cycle for the upcoming financial year.
