National Skill Training Institute (General) and National Skill Training Institute (Women), Mumbai celebrated their 1st Skill convocation ceremony today on 17 September, 2022.
Kaushan Deekshant Samaroh’ is celebrated throughout India in all the NSTIs as well as in the Government and Private ITIs. Shri. S. C. Gajbhiye, General Manager (HRD), Rashtriya Chemical Fertilizer, Mumbai attended the Convocation Ceremony as the Chief Guest while Shri. C. S. Murthy Regional Director, Regional Directorate of Skill Development Entrepreneurship, Maharashtra was the chairperson for the Convocation.
NSTI Mumbai organised their first convocation ceremony at the Chunabhatti campus in Mumbai. The event was attended by passing trainees of batch 2021-22 trained under CITS (Crafts Instructor Training Scheme) & CTS (Craftsmen Training Scheme) apart from faculties, dignitaries & staff members. Chief guest and Chairperson of the program conferred the CITS and CTS degrees to topper trainees from each trade.
NSTI, Mumbai’s two CITS trainees of Welder trade have become nationwide topper and these trainees were conferred by Shri, Dharmendra Pradhan. Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi.
