The Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is going to change the course of Chartered Accountants this time in five years instead of 10 years. The new course can be implemented from the coming year 2023. This information was given by CA Vishal Doshi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Studies, the Chief Guest of the New Education Policy and Training Program organized at ICAI Bhawan, Gomtinagar on Wednesday.
He said that the new education policy-2020 has been implemented in the country. In view of that and keeping in view the rapid change in these five years, the institute is going to change its course in five years instead of 10. For this, a Committee for Review of Education and Training (Crate) has been constituted. This committee has prepared a syllabus. On which consultations will be held and suggestions will be sought under the training program organized across the country for 30 days. This process will be completed by the coming year.
