Factionalism in Market is A Big Problem: Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made a big statement in the annual program of Competition Commission of India (CCI). She said that the trend of gang working or factionalism in the market is a matter of concern and it will be very challenging to deal with it.

During her address at the 13th Annual Function of CCI, Sitharaman said that it is very important for the Competition Commission to have a deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions. During this, she also expressed her concern about the disruption of the supply chain of the commodities. She said that at present the prices of commodities are skyrocketing due to various reasons. Therefore, there is a special need to look into the reasons for the interruption of supply.
