Cryptocurrency prices today: After 4% fall in the day, Bitcoin again falls, Ethereum down 7%

After an already very bad week, Bitcoin fell again and was down almost 4% on the day, after which its price hovered around the $35,000 level. Ethereum, the second largest coin, was down nearly 7% in afternoon US trading.

Bitcoin, the world’s largest and best-known cryptocurrency, is now nearly halving after touching its peak of $69,000 in November. It was at $35,049 after the last time it fell the most, but after a huge drop on Friday, it reached $34,000.

The price is down about 20%. Solana’s SOL and DeFi-play Avalanche’s AVAX token are each down about 38%.

In addition, memecoins declined significantly, with Dogecoin down 30% in the week, while Shiba Inu lost 38%, according to CoinMarketCap.
