This pandemic has taken away the employment of lakhs of people. At the same time, a large population of the country has to face health related expenses. During the Corona period, the laborers have also had to deal with migration. Due to all these reasons, the central government may move towards making a new social security scheme by including it in this year’s budget. Direct cash transfer will happen The report states that the proposed social security scheme can be launched on the lines of PM Kisan Nyay Yojana. In this, direct amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. For this, the condition of giving proof to the beneficiaries can be kept. For example, those who have lost their jobs, their relieving letter or any other document can be demanded. At the same time, existing schemes working in the unorganized sector can also be introduced in a new color. These can include accident insurance. Social Security Schemes of the Modi Government At present, the Central Government is running many schemes for the benefit of the common people, including Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY), which is a pension scheme for people above 60 years of age. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana which is an accident insurance scheme, in which an amount of two lakhs is provided at an annual premium of Rs.12. Atal Pension Yojana for people working in the unorganized sector is applicable in the country. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana has also been introduced, in which the border farmers are given a minimum fixed pension of three thousand rupees per month on reaching the age of 60 years. At the same time, PM Kisan Nyay Yojana, an amount of Rs 6,000 is transferred to the accounts of crores of farmers every year.
