According to media reports, the salary of central employees will increase from the month of March itself. More than 1 crore employees will benefit from the increased salary.

Dearness allowance may increase: Actually, in the month of March, the government is planning to increase the dearness allowance (DA Increment) of its employees. The government can announce it soon. According to media reports and information received from JCM Secretary, the government can increase dearness allowance by 3 percent.

DA will get this much: Central employees currently get 31 percent dearness allowance. Now if the increase in DA is announced by the central government, then the dearness allowance to the central employees and pensioners will increase at the rate of 34 percent. Let us tell you, the dearness allowance of central government employees is revised twice a year, once in January and the second time in July.

2 months will get arrears: Now if the central government announces the increase in DA of its employees on March 16, then the employees will also get arrears of two months. It is worth noting that at present the basic salary of central employees ranges from Rs 18 thousand to Rs 56,900. In such a situation, if the DA is increased by 3 percent, then the DM will increase to 34 percent. Accordingly, if DA is added on the basic salary of Rs 56,900, then Rs 19,346 is made per month.

More than one crore employees will benefit: If the central government announces an increase in DA, then it will benefit more than one crore people. Let us tell you, 50 lakh central government employees and 65 lakh pensioners will be directly benefited by this. It is worth noting that the model code of conduct is currently in force for elections in five states. Due to this, the government is not able to make any announcement yet.
