Rajasthan’s Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, presented the Budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the state assembly today, February 19th. This is the second budget presentation for the Bhajan Lal Sharma-led Rajasthan government.

Additionally, eligible households will receive 150 units of free electricity, and solar panels will be installed in beneficiaries’ homes.
- Agriculture: The government continues to focus on agriculture, with initiatives like increasing the amount provided to farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana to ₹9,000 by next year. There are also plans to support farmers with technology and infrastructure.
- Other Initiatives: The budget also includes initiatives in areas like education, healthcare, and social welfare. This includes increasing pensions for elderly, widows, single women, disabled people, and small and marginal farmers to ₹1,250.
