There is good news for the people who like Tata Tigor. Actually, the company has launched its new dual color variant. Its body has been given opal white and the roof has been given black color. The dual color tone adds to the beauty of this sedan. This is the second dual-tone exterior shade of the Tigor. Earlier, the company has launched the option of Black Roof with Magnetic Red Body. Now this sub-four meter sedan will get two dual-tone color options along with three single color options Deep Red, Arizona Blue and Daytona Grey. The Tigor is also the first sedan in its segment to get a black roof option.

Dual-Tone Tigor Engine & Features

This variant of Tata Tigor will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which generates maximum power of 86PS and peak torque of 113Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. It also gets a CNG kit option with a 5-speed MT, which makes 73PS of power and 95Nm of peak torque. In the Indian market, it competes with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.

Tata has not tampered with the equipment of this dual-tone exterior sedan in any way. It will get features like 7-inch touchscreen system, push-button start/stop, rain-sensing wipers and auto-headlights. For safety, it has dual airbags, ABS with EBD and reversing camera. The Tigor price ranges from Rs 6 Lakh to Rs 8.59 Lakh starting ex-showroom.

The CNG model was also launched in the same month.

 Tata Motors also launched the Tigor XM iCNG variant this month. ICNG technology has helped drive the sales of Tiago and Tigor in their respective segments. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 7.40 lakh. Many features have been given in this variant like Harman TM infotainment system with 4 speaker system, power windows, central locking, rear parking sensor. Tigor has contributed immensely to the company’s growth by becoming the second best selling sedan in the country with 21% market share in its segment. It is the only sedan in the country that comes with petrol, electric and CNG options.
