The upcoming new Hunter 350 from Royal Enfield will be officially launched for sale on 7th August. It is being told that this can be the cheapest bike in the company’s vehicle portfolio.
As the festive season approaches, automakers are constantly updating their vehicle portfolio. The country’s leading performance bike manufacturer Royal Enfield is also going to launch its new bike Hunter 350 in the market soon. Recently, the company has announced through a teaser video that, this bike will be launched for sale on 7th August. But even before this bike comes in the market, there are reports of leaks of its variants, features and colors. According to media reports, the new Hunter 350 will be introduced in a total of two variants.
How will the Royal Enfield Hunter 350:
A YouTube channel named Bullet Guru has claimed to have leaked all the details of the Hunter 350. A closer look at the video revealed some special things about the bike. It is being told that this bike will be offered in two variants, Retro and Metro, in which one will be spoke wheel version and the other will be alloy wheel version. According to this video, the spoke wheels model is being called Hunter Retro and the alloy wheels variant gets the name Hunter Metro. Let us tell you that, no information has been shared by the company about this yet and this will be confirmed only at the time of its launch.
However, according to this report, the Hunter Retro variant will have a disc brake at the front and a drum brake setup at the rear. This variant will be offered with a single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) as standard. It will get spoke wheels, bulb tail lamp, oval shape indicators, old classic style instrument cluster, although it will not get the main stand and the curb weight of this bike will be 177 kg.
In comparison, the Hunter Metro variant will get 300 mm and 270 mm disc brakes at the front and rear. This variant will be equipped with dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and will get alloys, LED tail lamps, round shape indicators, new meteor style instrument cluster and main stand. The curb weight of this bike is 181 kg. The special thing is that both the variants will be given 17-inch wheels at the front and rear.
Even before this, a document was leaked about this bike, in which information about the size of this bike was shared. The leaked document reveals that the upcoming new Royal Enfield bike, the Hunter 350, will have an overall length of 2,055 mm, a width of 800 mm and a height of 1,055 mm. Apart from this, a wheelbase of 1,370 mm is being given in this bike. If you consider the size, then it will be about 85 mm shorter in length than the current Meteor cruiser bike and its height will also be 85 mm less.
You will get the best color options:
The company will launch the New Hunter 350 in the market with a total of 8 color options. Its base Retro will be offered in two color options of Factory Black and Factory Silver. On the other hand, the Hunter Metro can be offered in 3 colours, Dapper White, Dapper Ash and Dapper Grey. Of the three, the dapper gray option is offered only if you book the Hunter through the Royal Enfield MiY app.
Apart from this, the top Rebel variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter Metro gets the option of three colors of Rebel Black, Rebel Blue and Rebel Red. Of these three, Rebel Red can only be booked through the MIY app. The Rebel colors will come with a dual tone finish, as seen in the leaked spy shots. In this bike, the company is giving a fuel tank of 13 liters capacity.
Engine and performance:
As far as performance is concerned, in this bike, the company is using OHC air-cooled and oil-cooled engine with a capacity of 349cc, which generates 20 hp power and 27 Nm torque. This is the same engine that you also got to see in the recently launched Classic 350. Being built on new technology and advanced platform, this bike will offer less vibration and better exhaust knot (silencer sound). It is possible that tripper navigation connectivity can also be given in this bike with a semi-digital cluster.
