Important Advisory on LLP Name Resubmission (RUN-LLP)
To ensure smooth and timely processing of LLP name applications, stakeholders are advised to take note of the following:
1️⃣ If the proposed name “includes” a registered Trademark, applicants must either furnish a valid NOC from the Trademark owner or suitably modify the name.
2️⃣The following NIC Codes should not be selected:
•Division 64: Financial Service Activities (not permissible for LLPs as per RBI guidelines/notifications).
•Division 84: Administrative category (allowed for Government companies only).
•66110: Administration of Financial Markets (allowed for Government companies only).
•88230: Administrative category (allowed for Government companies only).
3️⃣ Merely selecting the NIC Code is not sufficient; applicants are advised to provide elaborated objects in the application to ascertain the appropriate Trademark class.
4️⃣ In case of an LLP name change, consent of all partners must be duly attached.
