The Central Government has issued the Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2024, in exercise of powers conferred by the Companies Act, 2013. The rules come into force upon their publication in the Official Gazette. Rule 8A of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 is amended by omitting clause (p) containing the word “Nidhi” and by completely removing clause (v).
