Indian benchmark indices ended marginally higher. Sensex added 85.88 points to close at 61308.91, while Nifty gains 52.30 points to end at 18308.10 points.
Nifty Auto led the index. Hero Motocorp was up by 5.13%. Tata Motors was also up by 2.96%. By posting decent results, Ultratech gained 2.74%. Grasim was also up by 3.31%. Ultratech Cement is a subsidiary of Grasim. On the other hand, HCL Technologies was down by 5.87%, followed by HDFC Bank with 1.53% fall.
Nifty Pharma and Healthcare and Banking Sectors have witnessed selling pressure. All other indices were ended in green.
