Indian benchmark indices did well for a second consecutive day. Sensex added 672 points to close at 59886. Nifty closed at 17,806 by adding 180 points.
Power, Oil & Gas, and Banking stock led the rally. NTPC was the top gainer with 6.96 % gains. Tata Motors was the top loser with a 1.61% downfall. Nifty Energy was the top gained sector while Nifty Pharma was the top losing sector.
Index heavyweight stock RIL up by 2.22% which considerably helped the index.
