In September 2023, Bajaj Auto Ltd, a renowned manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers, reported a 1% decrease in its total sales, with 392,558 units sold, compared to 394,747 units sold during the same month last year.

The company’s domestic sales in September 2023 also experienced a slight decline, falling to 253,193 units from the 254,664 units recorded in September 2022. Additionally, exports saw a 1% year-on-year (YoY) decrease, amounting to 139,365 units.

Specifically, Bajaj Auto’s two-wheeler sales for the past month showed a notable 6% drop, with 327,712 units sold, in contrast to the 348,355 units sold during the same period in the previous year. This information was disclosed in a regulatory filing by Bajaj Auto.

On Tuesday, the shares of Bajaj Auto closed in the red, settling at Rs.5025, reflecting a 0.76% decline on the NSE.
