In an official regulatory disclosure, Godrej Agrovet has announced a significant strategic partnership agreement with Sime Darby Plantation Berhad (SDP), recognized as the largest global producer of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO). Under this partnership, SDP will be the primary supplier of high-quality oil palm seeds to Godrej Agrovet’s oil palm business units. Additionally, there are plans for SDP to establish a cutting-edge seed production facility in India at a later point in time.
Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) is a multifaceted agri-business company with a strong focus on research and development. Its diverse portfolio encompasses various sectors, including animal feed, crop protection, oil palm cultivation, dairy and poultry farming, as well as the production of processed foods.
On the trading front, Godrej Agrovet’s shares concluded at Rs. 480 per share, reflecting a gain of 1.18% in value on the National Stock Exchange on Friday.
