When Russia launched military action against Ukraine (Russia-Ukraine crisis), the prices of all cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, fell sharply. The war in Ukraine has now deepened but in the last 24 hours there has been a huge jump in the price of cryptocurrencies. During this period the price of bitcoin, the world’s largest, oldest and most popular cryptocurrency, has jumped 15 percent.
The world’s top cryptocurrencies have gained momentum. Terra gained 24 percent during this period to become the world’s seventh most valuable crypto. Similarly, Avalanche has gained 19 percent and Mim Crypto Shiba Inu has gained 10 percent. According to crypto exchange WazirX, at 1.26 pm, bitcoin was trading at $ 43,355 or Rs 33,76,000 with a gain of 11.71 percent.
Another crypto jumped
The price of bitcoin crossed the $68,000 mark in early November. The world’s second largest crypto Ether (Ether) was trading 9.34 percent higher at $ 2916 i.e. Rs 227179. Mime Crypto Dogecoin is trading with a gain of 4.92 percent and Shiba Inu 7.16 percent.
