The rates of 3 toll plazas (Shahjahanpur, Manoharpur and Daulatpura) have been increased. Due to this, private and government vehicles traveling to Jaipur-Delhi will have additional load from Wednesday midnight.
The National Highway Authority of India has increased the rates of 3 toll plazas (Shahjahanpur, Manoharpur and Daulatpura) falling between Manesar and Jaipur in Haryana on National Highway 48. Due to this, private and government vehicles traveling to Jaipur-Delhi will have additional load from Wednesday midnight. Passengers traveling from Delhi to Jaipur will have an additional burden of toll hike in their pockets.
The new changed rates will be applicable from 12 noon on Wednesday, 31st August. There has been an increase of about 10 to 15 percent on all categories of vehicles originating from the three toll plazas. Earlier in the year 2021, only 1 to 2 percent increase was registered in toll rates for large vehicles as compared to small vehicles. This hike in rates of toll plazas varies from category to category. The rates of single side (single) and daily pass (double) of the same category have also been changed. If we look at the figures of all three tolls, then this time all the categories of vehicles have increased. Manoharpur Toll Plaza Manager Imran Khan has given information about the change in rates.

Common man’s journey from deadly potholes is troublesome
Without full facilities, increasing this 10 to 15 percent toll is meaningless with the common man. NHAI collects toll through toll plazas at many places in lieu of providing road repairs and other facilities to facilitate vehicular movement on the road. Even after this, the facilities of the drivers are not being taken into account. Due to which the condition of national highways is bad. There are deep potholes at many places on National Highway 48. Due to which accidents are happening every day. The service line of Manoharpur, Kotputli, Pawta, Shahpura has potholes of about 1 to 2 feet on the road. Despite this, two-four have to be suffered due to the toll hike. Many tolls have been collected at many times the cost of the toll plaza, despite this the recovery is going on.
