demanding a payment of Rs 6,000 has been detected online. The Fact Check team from the Press Information Bureau has categorically identified it as a phishing scam. Citizens are strongly advised not to respond to such deceptive messages from unfamiliar sources. Remember, the Income Tax Department will never ask for sensitive financial details via email.
