The ongoing technical problems in the new Income Tax Portal of the Income Tax Department have been resolved. The new portal of Income Tax is now working properly. The new portal was launched by the Income Tax Department on June 7, 2021. In the initial phase, discrepancies and difficulties in the functioning of the portal were reported by the taxpayers. Since then several technical issues have been resolved and the performance of the portal has stabilized to a great extent. The Income Tax Department has given this information.
