The Income Tax Department has introduced a new functionality for “Challan Correction” accessible through the path: Dashboard > Services > Challan Correction. This feature allows users to modify the Assessment Year, Major Head, and Minor Head for Advance Tax, Self-Assessment Tax, and Demand Payment as Regular Assessment Tax for Challan related to the A.Y. 2020-21 onwards. Additionally, an image is provided to visualize the interface.
