The Income Tax Department has started tightening the noose on the pharmaceutical company Micro Labs, which makes the famous Dolo-650 tablet. The Income Tax Department has raided the residences of the company’s CMD Dilip Surana, Director Anand Surana.
According to the information, a total of 40 locations, including the headquarters of Micro Lab in Bangalore, have been raided. The raid locations include- Delhi, Punjab, Sikkim, Goa and Tamil Nadu. Sources said that the raids were conducted in connection with tax evasion.
Micro Lab’s Dolo-650 tablet has seen a tremendous growth in sales during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time the sale of Dolo has broken all records. This medicine was also discussed the most on social media. Sources said the company has sold 350 crore tablets in 2020 since the outbreak of Kovid-19 and earned revenue of Rs 400 crore in a year.
