The Income Tax Department is taking major action against Chinese mobile company Oppo Group and Xiaomi Group. Several senior Income Tax officials raided the offices of Chinese mobile companies. According to sources, raids are going on at the locations of Gurgaon, Rewari in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR. Let us tell you that some time ago in many locations of UP, there was a raid on the bases of Oppo Group. Nepal has also blacklisted many Chinese companies.
The Central Government had told the Parliament that at present 80 Chinese companies are actively doing business in the country.
According to the Economic Times report, the Indian government is already pressuring smartphone makers like Oppo and Vivo to stop working with Chinese partners for distribution. The government is talking about benefiting local companies.
