The offices of the Income Tax Department will also open on all Saturdays of this month (March 2022) across the country. A senior official said on Friday that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had directed this to be done to address the grievances and cases of taxpayers. The income tax offices will be open every Saturday from March 12 till the end of this month, the official said. At present, the employees of Income Tax Department have holidays on Saturdays and Sundays.
