The Income Tax Portal has been updated with a new development. When selecting Assessment Year (AY) 2024-25, the system will automatically display “Advance Tax (100)” as the first option. Similarly, when choosing AY 2023-24, the system will show “Self-Assessment Tax (300)” as the first option. This enhancement aims to save time for taxpayers and reduce the likelihood of errors.
