The upcoming financial year 2023-24 will conclude on March 31, 2024, which falls on a Sunday. Additionally, March 30, 2024, is a Saturday, and March 29, 2024, is a designated holiday.
In order to facilitate the completion of pending departmental work, all Income Tax Offices across India will remain open on March 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2024. This directive has been issued for administrative convenience by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, exercising the powers conferred under Section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
