The Income Tax Department has raided the leaders of Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh. A raid was conducted on Saturday morning at the house of leaders considered very close to Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav. These raids are going on in more than five places.
According to Income Tax Department sources, there is a case of tax evasion of Rs 200 crore. Many important documents and electronic devices have been recovered during the raids so far. According to sources, the wires of the accused may also be connected to Dubai and other countries. The raids are continuing. The raids could go on till Sunday evening.
