Today, the CBDT has extended the due date for filing income tax audit from 15th January 2022 to 15th February 2022.
The due date for filing audited ITR has been extended from 15th February 2022 to 15th March 2022.

The govt should assess cost effectiveness of Income Tax department which is white elephant. The govt is biggest loser due to this department.
