An individual named Srinath Rathi, aged 29 and residing in Kacheguda, Hyderabad, was arrested by the Detective Department’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for allegedly cheating Chartered Accountants of Rs 2.48 crore.

Srinath collected money from the Chartered Accountants under various pretenses and failed to repay them, resulting in charges of cheating. After being produced before the court, he was remanded in judicial custody.
