ICAI will be issuing a legal notice to Netflix and the producers/directors of a series that seeks to malign the reputation of the profession. Such actions are completely unacceptable, and the Institute maintains a zero tolerance policy towards defamation. I once again urge all professionals to promptly report any similar content on social media to the institute or directly contact the leadership and council, rather than further circulating it on social platforms, as this indirectly contributes to further defamation.
