The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will begin the CA Inter exams today onwards, (May 3). The exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm, 2 pm to 5 pm, and 2 pm to 6 pm on different days. The Inter exam will be held in two groups including Group 1 and Group 2. Candidates will get 15 minutes of reading time before the commencement of the exam. Candidates can check their details at– icai.org
According to the schedule, the Group 1 exam will be conducted on May 3, 6, 8 and 10, 2023. While the Group 2 exam will be held on May 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2023. However, the exam that was scheduled on May 10 in Karnataka in various districts including Udipi, Bellary, Hubli, Belgaum, Haveri, and other districts has been postponed to May 20 because of the State Assembly Elections.
The ICAI CA Inter exam will consist of a total of 8 papers including four papers in Group 1 and four papers in Group 2. The Group 1 papers will contain Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting and Taxation, etc. Group 2 paper will have Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Enterprise Information Systems and Strategic Management, Financial Management and Economics for Finance, etc.
ICAI CA Inter Exam May 2023: Guidelines
-Candidates must carry their hard copy of admit card along with a valid photo ID on the day of the examination. Candidates who failed to bring their admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
-Candidates must reach the examination center before the allotted time
-Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, laptops, smart watches, tablets, etc.
-Candidates will be allowed to carry a water bottle. No eatables will be allowed inside the examination hall
-Candidates must follow all the COVID-19 guidelines. Wear a mask and sanitize your hands before entering the exam hall.
-Candidates are advised to read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card
