Via 2 new circulars, CBIC India says that any communication from either GST or customs dept to the taxpayers will have either a Document Identification Number (DIN), Reference Number (RFN) or CBIC Eoffice application’s Issue number.
These unique numbers will help taxpayers & tax Administration identify the genuineness of the communication upon being verified through easy online access
