WhatsApp will stop working on these Android or iOS devices from tomorrow November 1

if you are using an Android or iOS smartphone running on the old version of the operating system, then you will not be able to use WhatsApp from November 1, 2021

WhatsApp has shared a list of devices that will no longer support the WhatsApp messaging app starting November 1, 2021.

Android phones that are running on Android 4.0.3 or lower, and Apple iPhones that are running on iOS 9 or older.

On which smartphones will the WhatsApp app be closed?

WhatsApp users can check the list of smartphones on which the messaging app will not be able to run by going to the WhatsApp FAQ section. Devices of many companies including Samsung, LG, ZTE, Huawei, Sony, Alcatel are in this list.

  • WhatsApp will be closed on Apple’s iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and Apple iPhone SE.
  • WhatsApp will also not work on Samsung’s Galaxy Trend Lite, Galaxy SII, Galaxy Trend II, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Xcover 2 and Galaxy Ace 2.
  • LG’s Lucid 2, Optimus L5 Dual, Optimus L4 II Dual, Optimus F3Q, Optimus F7, Optimus F5, Optimus L3 II Dual, Optimus F5, Optimus L5, Optimus L5 II, Optimus L3 II, Optimus L7, Optimus L7 II Dual hand job Optimus L7 II, Optimus F6, Enact, Optimus F3, Optimus L4 II, Optimus L2 II, Optimus Nitro HD and 4X HD will also be discontinued.
  • WhatsApp will disappear on ZTE’s Grand S Flex, Grand X Quad V987, ZTE V956 and Grand Memo from November 1.
  • WhatsApp will also not work on Chinese company Huawei’s Ascend G740, Ascend D Quad XL, Ascend Mate, Ascend P1 S, Ascend D2 and Ascend D1 Quad XL.
