ED Conducts Major Money-Laundering Raids in Delhi-NCR

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at seven locations in Delhi-NCR on August 19 and 20, 2026, related to a money laundering investigation involving several companies and their promoter, Kashi Nath Shukla. The inquiry revealed fraudulent practices against homebuyers, leading to significant asset seizures and ongoing investigations into misappropriated funds and foreign investments.

Money-Laundering Raids in Delhi-NCR

ED, Gurugram Zonal Office, has conducted search and survey operations on 19.08.2026 and 20.08.2026at seven (07) premises in Delhi-NCRin connection with an ongoing money-laundering investigation under PMLA, 2002, relating to M/s Tashee Land Developers Pvt. Ltd., M/s KNS Infracon Pvt. Ltd., and M/s Soni Infratech Pvt. Ltd., Kashi Nath Shukla, present Resolution Professional (RP) and other associated entities/persons. During the search operations, various incriminating documents, financial records relating to foreign investment and digital datapertaining to the companies and projects under investigation were identified/seized for further examination. Further, bank accounts/Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) with outstanding balance of Rs. 22 Lakh and one luxury Car were frozen/ seized.

Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Gurugram Zonal Office, had conducted search and survey operations on 19.08.2026 and 20.08.2026 at seven (07) premises in Delhi-NCR in connection with an ongoing money-laundering investigation under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, relating to M/s Tashee Land Developers Pvt. Ltd., M/s KNS Infracon Pvt. Ltd., and M/s Soni Infratech Pvt. Ltd., Kashi Nath Shukla, present Resolution Professional (RP) and other associated entities/persons.

ED initiated the investigation on the basis of multiple FIRs registered / Chargesheets filed by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Delhi Police and Haryana Police relating to allegations of cheating of homebuyers/ investors in the Tashee Capital Gateway Project, Sector-111, Gurugram, and Orion Galaxy Project, formerly known as Spire South, Sector-68, Gurugram, besides alleged fraudulent procurement/diversion of SWAMIH Investment Fund, housing loan fraud and investor fraud.

Investigation has revealed that Tashee Group had collected approximately Rs. 386 Crore from more than 600 homebuyers and are yet to give possession even after a lapse of approximately 10-15 years. Investigation also revealed that the group had misappropriated approximately Rs. 120 Crore from investor’s funds which include Rs. 98 Crore investment by SWAMIH Fund. Further investigation revealed that substantial amounts collected from homebuyers and received through financial/investment facilities were transferred between interconnected group companies and promoter-controlled entities. The money trail, inter-company transactions, project-wise utilisation of funds and possible diversion of funds from one project to another are being examined to identify the total quantum of Proceeds of Crime and assets acquired with tainted money.

Further investigation also has revealed that the family members of the main promoter Kashi Nath Shukla had reportedly settled abroad and he had disposed of/ liquidated substantial assets held in India in the last 5-10 years. Investigation also revealed that substantial investments are made in the name of his family members in foreign companies/entities which include running an old age care home in UK. Moreover, it is revealed that one of his family member had applied for citizenship of St Kitts through investment route.

During the search operations, various incriminating documents, financial records relating to foreign investment and digital data pertaining to the companies and projects under investigation were identified/seized for further examination. Further, bank accounts/Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) with outstanding balance of Rs. 22 Lakh and one luxury Car were frozen/ seized.

Further investigation is under progress.
