Police Misconduct in Gondia
Assistant Sub-Inspector Anil Faguji Pardhi from Gondia City police station in Maharashtra faced allegations of misconduct and was consequently apprehended by the ACB for accepting a bribe. Pardhi, who purportedly demanded Rs 10,000 from a tractor driver to avoid registering a case against him, eventually accepted Rs 8,000 following negotiation.
