Rajasthan: Sikar records lowest minimum temperature of 0.5°C

North India is reeling under cold wave conditions. Lowest Minimum Temperature of 0.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Sikar in east Rajasthan. According to India Meteorological Department, cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are very likely in some pockets over Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan during next 3 days. The Met Department has forecast fall in minimum temperatures by 3 to 5 degree Celsius over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh; by 4 to 6 degree Celsius over East India during next 3 days; by 2 to 3 degree Celsius over West India during next 48 hrs. No significant change is expected in minimum temperatures over remaining parts of the country during the next 2 days.
