India and UK emphasize need for strengthening international cooperation to combat terrorism

The Union Government has decided that flights between India and the UK will resume from 8th of January. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in a tweet said that operations of flights till 23rd of January will be restricted to 15 flights per week each for carriers of the two countries to and  from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad only.

The government had extended the temporary suspension of flights to and from the UK till 7th January 2021. India had earlier banned UK flights on 23rd of December till 31st of December 2020.
