Metro Railway has been continuously conducting ‘No Mask, No Metro’ Campaign in the Metro premises. On-duty station staff, RPF staff have been ensuring maintenance of Covid protocols in the Metro premises to stop the spread of Covid.
As a part of this campaign, on 20th December, RPF staff of Kalighat post arranged an awareness programme about how to wear a mask properly at Rabindra Sarobar, Jatin Das Park, Kalighat and Rabindra Sadan stations during the peak hours. Such campaigns were also organized at Dakshineswar, Baranagar and Noapara stations as well as in the running Metros.
RPF staff have been counseling Metro users through loudhailers to follow all Covid protocols at stations and in running trains. They are not allowing any passenger to travel in the Metro, if found without a mask. Posters and banners are also on display at Metro stations to make passengers aware about this deadly disease and realize the importance of using masks properly. Regular announcements are also being made through the Public Address System for spreading Covid awareness.
Beside this, Metro users are requested to cooperate with the Metro Authority to stop the spread of the pandemic.
