Q3 Results: These companies, including SBI Life, released third quarter results, PVR suffered a loss

Several companies including SBI Life Insurance Company Limited, Bandhan Bank, PVR on Friday declared the financial results for the third quarter of their current financial year (2021-22).

SBI Life’s profit up 47.6 percent to 364.6 crore
SBI Life’s profit after tax on a quarterly basis stood at Rs 364.6 crore, registering a significant increase of 47.61 per cent. On a quarterly basis, the company’s income declined by 19.45 per cent to Rs 20,458.1 crore. The company’s net premium income for the third quarter of FY 2021-22 (Q3FY22) increased to Rs 18,025.34 crore as against Rs 14,660.64 crore for the second quarter of FY 2021-22 (Q2FY22).

Bandhan Bank’s profit up 35.7 per cent to Rs 859 crore
Bandhan Bank’s net profit grew by 35.7 per cent to Rs 859 crore. Whereas in the third quarter of the last financial year 2020-21, the bank’s profit was recorded at Rs 633 crore. At the same time, the bank’s net interest income (NII) increased by 2.6 per cent to Rs 2,124.7 crore in the quarter ended December 2021 on a year-on-year basis, as compared to Rs 2,071.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The bank’s non-interest income for the third quarter grew by 26.7 per cent to Rs 712.3 crore as against Rs 562.3 crore in the third quarter of last year.

JSW Steel net profit up 62.5% to Rs 4357 crore
The country’s second-largest steel maker JSW Steel Ltd reported a 62.5 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 4,357 crore as against Rs 2,681 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. In the previous quarter i.e. September quarter, the consolidated profit of the company was Rs 7,170 crore. The company said that its consolidated income grew 74 per cent to Rs 38,071 crore in the December quarter as against Rs 21,859 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. At the same time, the consolidated revenue of the company stood at Rs 32,503 crore in the September quarter.

PVR posted a loss of 22 crores in the December quarter
Multiplex operator PVR has incurred a loss of Rs 21.9 crore during the December quarter. At the same time, in the same quarter a year ago, the company had a loss of Rs 136.7 crore. At the same time, the company’s revenue during the third quarter of the current financial year stood at Rs 642.3 crore, as compared to Rs 63.4 crore in the same period a year ago.
